In this article, former MASS Executive Director Arnold Reimer describes recent provinicial innovations that attempt to address questions of equity in education and asks “Are we any closer to the goal?” He deconstructs the various notions and aspects of the term equity within the context of Manitoba education, revealing some of the ironies and challenges that face us as we attempt to provide an equitable education for all of the province’s children.
